Winter Break
So, since it’s winter break, I’ve been cubing… finally.
I’m back to using my old type Guhong. It’s pretty good, but it still pops more than I’d like. I’ve been getting a good amount of sub-10’s as well. I’ve gotten maybe 7 or so in the past 2 weeks, which is really good for me. I’ve also brought my average to about high 12’s, low 13’s. My problem is that I don’t know full OLL, which makes the difference between a 12 and a 14 second solve.
I’ve been neglecting 2x2 a little though. My Wittwo pops a little and it popped yesterday. I have no idea… My averages are around 3.75 or so still… I doubt I’ll get any faster with Ortega.
My 4x4 skills depend on day to day. Today, I was around 1:05, last week, I was getting around 55. The Shengshou v3 is good, but I lock up quite a bit with it. The colors are also quite dull, so I feel the need to resticker it.
And finally, for Christmas (cubing related), I’ve asked for a Zhanchi, Traxxas Lubricant, and a Shengshou 6x6. :)
